Our Story

At Agape Farm, we enjoy leveraging nature to achieve optimal health. Getting back to basics has never been more critical as our modern world has drifted so far from God's perfect design.  It's exciting to learn that He's already put everything we need on this earth to become the very best version of ourselves.  Remember Hippocrates?   Let's "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food."
On January 8, 2017, we lost my childhood horse, Alice, very suddenly.  We were blessed despite our tremendous loss as she was almost 32 years old and extraordinarily healthy until her last day.  Images of Alice now grace the front of every Yucc’ It Up! label and our website.  We then quickly adopted a very sweet miniature horse named Toby to become our Arab gelding’s new companion.  Toby came to us with locking stifles and required an anti-inflammatory to bend his hind legs.  Most products I reviewed contained GMO’s as fillers, anti-inflammatory agents which can be harsh on the gut, liver and kidneys, and over-processed or trivial amounts of herbal ingredients. My search ended, however, when I found the beloved Native American herb with the richest source of saponins (nature’s most powerful anti-inflammatory agent), Yucca Schidigera.  Yucca is safe, fast acting and surprisingly effective... However, we needed to syringe it in order to get it in his system.  For us, this was a messy, time consuming process and most often ended with us chasing Toby around the paddock.  So, I took this as an opportunity to create a palatable, powerhouse nugget using certified organic superfoods, wildcrafted herbs , medicinal spices and high quality essential oils which support our overall goal of developing a normal inflammatory response.  Voila!  Yucc’ It Up! was born.  Now, Toby chases us down for his supplement.  :)
